Ryan, Caucasian the latest hired cook of RB, discussed his vision as cook of the community. His culinary experience helps the kitchen staff makes things possible for the meals of the whole community.
Norman, Filipino Bulakenyo, makes the kitchen atmosphere a lighter one and a no dull-moment experience to all of the kitchen staff (me,activity director; the medication staff, the caregiver staff).
Another, jolly-down-to-earth cook is Maryann, Filipino immigrant who makes the kitchen an interesting and stress-free moments for all of the kitchen staff.
Joey -former Pinoy movie actor and comedian- worked at RB kitchen for almost three months and decided to move on to another calling. We missed him at the kitchen, though life has to move on with him.
Indeed, socializing with the cooks of the Residences @ Royal Bellingham is a significant action as activity director of the facility. Making myself familiar with them and what they can offer for the residents of the community plays a very important factor for me in reaching out to every resident of the community.
