starting over

This was the day when  I left the Philippines after staying with my mother for nearly  six months beginning January. This was the day when I considered starting my life over after deciding not to continue with my seminary studies and not come back to Saint Vincent  anymore. This was the day when I decided to plan to settle in California upon arriving in the US.
The rest of what happened to me was a history and a story of  test on faith, hope and love of God.

As a newbie commuter, waiting for the next bus to arrive at the bustop with other passengers always fascinated me. So, I took the trivial interest to take some random photos of the scenario.

I treasure these days with my nephew and my niece at SM Centerpoint Manila, Phils.

That was my first time to stroll along this park called Balboa park here at the Valley. the place was a 40-minute drive away from my apartment. I was invited by my housemates, Weng, Lance and Lancey to give it a try one weekend in July. I did enjoy the walk and as usual, my camera lens got so excited with me as shown by these photos.

layover

I have had so much experience with having a  layover in my long-distance travels by plane to and fro the USA and the Philipiines.

And so,  having to wait for long hours during these layovers required me to practise the virtue of patience and peace amidst the long wait.

My  time that is spent at airport terminal after departing one air-carrier  and waiting to board the next flight is made meaningful thru spending time with meditations and contemplative thoughts.

 Like many international travelers, I had to face such long hours of  layovers during such journeys with a smile and a peaceful mood.
