the day i went crazy for my oldies...

As Director of Activities in Royal Bellingham Luxury  Residences, it  never came to a point when I got tired and stopped from making the day-to-day life of its residents an enjoyable and a happy one ---one  which is filled with life's  purpose and meaning.

Last Christmas Day (Dec 25, 2012 at 6:00pm), I hosted a Christmas party held at the lobby of the community.

The party was well-attended and their presence gave each other a sense of belonging. Their smiles and giggles made the event worth remembering, and the best part of it was when I rendered a dance number. A dance number that was not the usual dance  that I used to show in front of them during their moments of boredom and lethargy. It was a dance number  perked them up, made them laugh-out-loud, and a dance number that tickled them.

yes, I am a commuter, and there is so much to tell about it.

I become a commuter since I arrived in CA after relocating myself from New Mexico. Life in Los Angeles most specifically is easy and access to public transport is easy. Food and housing seem to be fine and not expensive. Living life with a purpose is a challenge, though. The whole environment is filled with people, commuters, cars and vehicles and Filipino stores and business establishments of all sorts.

nature trip at Balboa park with my housemates.

That was my first time to stroll along this park called Balboa park here at the Valley. the place was a 40-minute drive away from my apartment. I was invited by my housemates, Weng, Lance and Lancey to give it a try one weekend in July. I did enjoy the walk and as usual, my camera lens got so excited with me as shown by these photos.

night at the rides

It was one night of excitement for me when my housemate couple invited me to tag along with them in going to a  carnival show of rides and games and flea market.

The location of the carnival was amusingly situated at the middle of the street of van nuys blvd  occupying the intersection of roscoe  blvd until the intersection of chase street.

The fun lasted only for two hours as the rides closed when it was approaching midnight.
I could not even remember the last time i went to a carnival, and if i am not mistaken, the  last one that i saw and came into was when i was in fourth year high school.
