Since I came to the USA and joined the monastery of Christ in the Desert in NM in year 2002, I lived a very different life from my life as layman in the Philippines.

As monk, I learned so many practices- not only holy ones but trivial ones. Apple picking was one of the things i Learned and enjoyed doing. It was  in Espanyola City, at a yard of one of our community benefactors, that I was asked by the benefactor to take my time to pick apples for my community brothers- and for our sis horses! It was really fun to pick apples from the tree itself and gather them in a bucket.
