In year 2003, after a year of living as monk in our community secluded from the world- I acquired the ways of a monk- i acquired the looks of a monk-a medieval contemplative monk.

One of the ways I learned inside the monastery was how to make a good meditation and contemplation in the silence of the surroundings.

I grew my facial hairs involuntarily and developed a feature of a monk! This photo was one of the photos that Dom Caedmon took of me while we were at the riverside of Chama river at 3pm while we were doing our Lectio Divina.

It was a strange practice that contemplative monks do their meditations and contemplations at the wilderness as they strongly believe that it is in solitude at the wilderness when they encounter God and feel His holy presence.
